Well, connecting singles doesn't exclude connecting on a friendship basis. I'm one of those people for whom looking for a relationship is absolutely pointless. I'm flying out of the US next week, I'll be in Europe for a year or two and then it's back over to the US. There is no way anyone could seriously put up with that, let alone come along. It'd be nothing short of a miracle to establish anything serious given the circumstances. So I think it's actually fair to say to people up front: hey, friendship only. At least that's how I see it, you know.

Good morning,Oh goodness, I know you're not implying anything. I just thought I'd mention that there are people on here who, like myself, have good reason to not look for a relationship. Of course then there are those who state in their profile that they want one and then suddenly claim they're on for friendship only. That's a bit fishy, imo. If I were in your shoes, my pro would definitely read differently. In fact, I think it's cool that you're so outspoken about what you're looking for, rather than sit around and wait to be "discovered".

Sassy there are quite a few men out there who are not on the forums. Just a small percentage of us come here just to be friends. At least we are upfront about it.
I just got an IM from a man on another site where I make it very clear that is what I am looking for. Good friends to hang out and enjoy. He has IM'd me three or four times asking me if I want a Boyfriend finally I asked him if he read my profile. He has been rude and very aggressive to me every time he has IM'd me lol.
So as long as people are upfront with what they want from the sites there should be plenty of peeps to go around to hook up with for those of you who do want someone.
No matter what someone is online for friendship is always a blessing from men or women and you never know who you might meet. I have heard some of the people say that they have been on here for a couple of years before they met someone.
Sorry for the rambling. I just think there is a place for all of us no matter what our motivation to be online interconnecting with others.

If I may say it is not impossible. Wealth doesnt have anything to do with it. Unless you are just dirt poor it does not cost a lot to buy a plane ticket. And if you educated and have a career relocating is not a problem. I have meet people in UK someone visited me here before so its not impossible :)
