Hugz_n_Kissez: No probs darlin...I highlighted the good parts...especially this one by McCain:The Republican also targeted his own party, saying they got drunk with power and lacked the resolve of President Reagan.
"I think, frankly, the problem was, with a Republican Congress, that the president was told by the speaker and majority leaders and others, 'Don't veto these bills, we need this pork, we need this excess spending, we need to grow these bureaucracies.' They all sponsor certain ones. And he didn't do what Ronald Reagan used to and say, 'No'; say, 'No. We're not going to do this.'"
i suppose at least reagan thought for himself........
(i have always held the belief that people who come from artistic backgrounds tend to think for themselves more)
i think mccain wasnt such a bad guy, but that palin, well i dont think she helped at all to the campaign, she was thick as 2 bricks

I didn't like McCains mudslinging..BUT I thought it better the criticisms come from their own party.....that way there's no dispute about the source of the info....

Yes..and I only posted that portion because everyone keeps saying that the Dems were in control of Congress but according to McCain it was the Republicans...I think Obama has a tougher road ahead working on straightening out the economy so I am not surprised at the spending at this point...Do I agree with bailing out these failed businesses no...BUT What would be the effects on the economy of they were just left to die????...I don't know.....

I'm in favor of sending the gitmo prisoners to Virginia. Even though Virginia doesn't want them. I want them as close to Obama as they can be.
