When you see a statue of a soldier on a horse, the way the horse is standing tells you how he died.
If the horse is rearing, he died in battle.
If the horse has one leg up, he died from wounds of a battle.
If the horse is on all fours, he died of other causes, usually old age.

Ah...got one...there were 13 original founders to the FBI, which started out as the Justice Bureau, and then became the Federal Investigation Bureau, before it's name was changed permanently to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

My great grandfather was one of those 13 original founders, and I know the rest from reading The History of The FBI. laugh

Actually, Vinny, I'm going to have to look this up. It disputes what I heard years ago when I was in the military. I was told that "Jeep" came from "GP", standing for General Purpose vehicle. And I heard that "Just Enough Essential Parts" was a phrase that GIs came up with after they'd had the vehicle for awhile (sort of like "FORD" meaning "Fix Or Repair Daily" or "Found On Road Dead.") laugh
But I'll check online and see what I can find.

It was actually Willys Overland that first mass produced the Jeep, after the prototype designed by Bantam BRC, and Ford (called the GPW) also built the "Jeep" during WWII. Chrysler didn't have anything to do with them until 1987 when they bought out AMC.
