For he purrs in thankfulness, when God tells him he is a good cat.

For he is an instrument for the children to learn benevolence upon.

Me too. All you have to do is eat, sleep and use the litterbox rolling on the floor laughing

Ah, but you must also arrange yourself artistically wherever you choose to sit or sleep and keep your sleek coat beautifully groomed.

Which reminds me - "Cats aren't clean, they're just covered in cat spit!"

:bye:

This wave should be hello.

There is no need for a piece of sculpture in a home that has a cat.

It is as easy to hold quicksilver between your finger and thumb as to keep a cat who means to escape.

Allen, have you been to the Infinite Cat Project? Here is an excerpt.

I recently saw a self-cleaning litter box that looked vaguely like Darth Vader's helmet. It reportedly works well but it costs $350 bucks. Yikes! Personally, I prefer one of these, the Omega Paw Self-Cleaning litter box. You simply roll it over once, sans cat, and organic material, or "Cat Squeezin's", is dumped neatly into a slide-out box. Pretty sweet, and it comes in several sizes for that special-sized kitty of yours.

I have studied many philosophers and many cats.

The wisdom of cats is infinitely superior.

Of all domestic animals the cat is the most expressive.

Its face is capable of showing a wide range of expressions.

The tail is a mirror of its mind.

Its gracefulness is surpassed only by its agility.

And, along with all of these, a cat has a sense of humor.

Cats are a mysterious kind of folk. There is more passing in their minds than we are aware of.

Once upon a time there lived a queen who had a beautiful cat, the colour of smoke, with china blue eyes, which she was very fond of. The cat was constantly with her, and ran after here wherever she went, and even sat up proudly by her side when she drove out in her fine glass coach.

I think a cat is wiser than a kitten. Some kittens will let just about anyone pet it but I have found that cats can be more selective. Case in point. Last night this stray kitten came up to a table where four of us were sitting. I stroked the kitten because I like animals. The kitten got on the table. The next man just ignored it. It went to the next man. He picked up and throwed it off the table. The kitten came up to the woman who just gently let it back down. I don't know it the kitten will remember any of that but I think a kitten can pick up on things. I think a kitten can gain knowledge as it matures into a cat.

I agree with that and thanks for sharing.

Animals are sensitive to how they are treated and I also think that they can feel when people have unkind attitudes toward them.

A cat's tongue can tickle especially if you have whiskers. I have tried that putting cream on your face and letting the cat lick it off. I still had to shave.
