The Cat's pyjamas:
hehe..................
Something superlatively good; first rate; attractive. A colloquialism in use be 1900. The cat's whiskers are used in the same way and with the same meaning.

Cat is supposedly an old Scottish word for rogue, and if the derivation is from this, the " swing " is that of the condemned rogue hanging from the gallows.

See how the cat jumps:
" which way the wind blows "; await the course of events, see what is going to happen before you pass an opinion, support a course of action or commit yourself. The allusion is either to the game of " tip-cat ", in which before you strike you must watch which way the cat has jumped up.

hm............
Most kittens you obtain from others ( given away, found outside ect.... ) usually have flea's and or many other little things on the body.
About the only thing one can do is consult a vet or someone educated in care about animals for something like front line or other meds available for flea control. Most meds depend on the age of the animal for dosage.
Cats are relatively independant though and make good pets.
my 6 yr old tom cat has been with me since birth, and he was born 2 days before my BD. he sleeps at my feet facing window each night as though protecting me. LOL
