That saying " curiosity killed the cat " comes from an old 16th century saying. Cats seem to be very cautious, careful and worrisome creatures and too much anxiety could be bad for its health, even to the point of death.
Humans have 3 primary functions: To feed us, to play with and give attention to us, and to clean the litter box. It's important to maintain ones Dignity when around humans so that they will not forget who is the master of the house. Humans need to know basic rules. They can be taught if you start early and are consistant. You will then have a smooth running household.

Last night my 21-year old feline (who always steals my pillow at night) started grooming me - licking my hair with her sandpaper tongue. She carried on for 20 minutes and it was all I could do not to giggle for fear of scaring her off. First time I've ever had a cat do this, and it was delightful.
Here lately I've been "fighting" with several old friends (in real life) cause they backstabbed me and are like "atleast we are friends, what do you have nothing!" They've also said "Your going to be old and lonely in a house full of cats and you'll start talking to them like they understand you cause yours stupid!"
Umm...my cats understand me fine...when I say "icecream" I suddenly have 5 fluffy faces looking at me. And I'd rather have a house full of cats than 3 crazy women ready to jump on me at a moment's notice.
