Most Women get divorced because the man they were married to drove them to it or gave them no option. and im keeping it nice and not saying to much. And i will add for the most part for a women to get divorced and walk away from a marriage it must been a bad thing that happend to make her do that.

perhaps I can give some preventative advice via poetry.
If you don't want you marriage to end in divorce Don't tell your wife that I'm hung like a horse... Neighhhhh
Seriously, They're probably divorced for the same reasons men are divorced. They either grew to dislike or distrust their husbands or their husband grew to dislike and distrust them.
The child aspect shouldn't even be considered. Different people = different values, circumstances, etc... Besides, unmarried or not, chances are they didn't create those children all by themselves so I suspect there are guys out there doing the wild thing before their married too.
Just remember the old adage - People cause accidents and accidents sometimes cause people..

It's just a gender thingy.
Some people get divorced because they see it as a easy way out instead of trying to work things out sometimes. We've become a throw away society.

Uh...I would suspect that for every divorced woman...there would also be a divorced man...hello?? And single parents would be just that...there is or should be a father in there somewhere?? There are a lot of divorced males on here too. And a lot of men who state they have never been married/single...but have children as well.

if you compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges you would find it more prominante amongest women..for some reason. I have friends who have multiple kids from multiple fathers...come on what I'm trying to say is this? we have tried everything to have what is called a perfect family and all fialed. are we gonna stop short at that, or keep trying. is polygmy an answer, well if women can agree to that. (some mormon comunities do)

You've made a very good observation. People give up too easily these days. Most couples often seek out the easiest way out. Just like the cowards they often are. They fail to realise that certain things are really worth fighting for, rather than calling it quits at the very first sign of setbacks/difficulties. If only couples put in more efforts to make their marriages work, lots of divorce attorneys would be unemployed.

No, it's not the answer, and only the men are allowed to be polygamous, not the women. I'd say that the answer is learning from past mistakes, and finding another who has as well. Building a relationship slowly, built on trust, open communication, fidelity, and respect, not just hormones and infatuation.

My ex divorced me because she couldn't deal with the fact I had heart disease even tho she claimed irreconcilable differences. I had gone thru a triple by-pass surgery and just as soon as I was back to work, she gave me the boot. I suggested seeing a marriage counsellor, but she didn't want to hear it.
