RDM59: The point I was trying to make is that science is open for self questioning unlike religion, which is stagnant, written in stone for millenia and blindly accepted. Science is in it's infancy in comparison and look what has been achieved already by the open minded ones !
When new evidence proves a theory wrong, a scientist won't then dedicate the rest of his/her live trying to defend their initial belief or go to war over it.

I would have to agree with you. Exoteric Religion can be extremely dogmatic. But much of the Esoteric Religion lets individuals discover stuff, at thier own pace.
Western Science, definitively is in it's infancy! Then again, depends what you call a science?!
Religion can be turned into a science - and the other way around, depending on a number of factors.
I have a problem with, what constitutes 'evidence'?! The value of evidence rests on the assumption, that the instrument doing the measuring is percieving things correctly. And whether, the interpretation of this evidence, is correct.
It's true, I am one of those who, decries the actions of the religious past. And I hope to hear more of the new discoveries being made - all the time.

Allah creat Universe and God told us 1400 ago in the Quran and Science approves it.

From a condition of non-existence in which neither matter, nor energy, nor even time existed, and which can only be described metaphysically, matter, energy, and time were all created. This fact, only recently discovered by modern physics, was announced to us in the Qur'an 1,400 years ago.

(You should observe the balance and harmony that is created when the Divine Laws are followed!) Do you not see how Allah Almighty the Almighty has created various celestial bodies in outer space and how they move in harmony and discipline. They remain firm in their orbits inspite of the tremendous speed with which they move. This is because they do not exist individually. The pull of one becomes a source of stability for the other and in this way the entire celestial system can continue functioning without a clash. On the contrary, visualize your own life and see how your individual interests clash with each other. verse 15
