I heard that when you "fall" you sometimes get hurt. I alway give myself a big space. I do road trips by myself, visit people, and of course write. I just keep busy. I mourn, but I keep myself busy.
I am like most folks. A certain voice or whiff of a certain cologne will bring the person back. But... I fight to get over a lost love. It helps me move forward.
When I met the new person, I was leary, suspicious. So much was not in my profile, and I waited to see what would tumble out of his mouth. So After seven years of a happy me. I am stepping into what I beleive to be love..."Falling" just has never been my style.

In my younger years I used to "free fall" (skydive).
I always used a parachute.
