When was the last time you had a really good laugh? I mean the kind where you can't stop laughing; tears rolled down your eyes, your cheeks and belly hurt and you still have to chuckle now when you think back on whatever it was that made you laugh.
My last really good one was when a friend told me about "sound therapy" where a bunch of bowls are placed on your body and they're gonged so that sound vibrations relax you... at least so the theory goes. ... The biggest bowl doesn't go on your head, but between your feet. The bowl that goes on your forehead is supposedly a little one that produces a high tone... anyway... visualizing this as the theory was explained to me, I was crying from laughter...
What is it that usually gets you laughing? and how important is it to you to have laughter in your life?

Laughter is a necessity for a healthy emotional being...
I laugh no less than 0958452348+59238 times a day...
I'm also easily amused...especially by my own posts
Laughter is great therapy and i love it, silly things set me off like getting words all mixed up or trying to put kettle in fridge when im having those forgetful senior moments, the best one though for me is when babies go into hysterical laughter, its just magical and hilarious..

I'm never without laughter in my life.Even on the darkest days the sun shines through and gives me something to smile about. That's why every day I try to leave a joke on the joke threads to lift everyone's spirits.

Couldn't agree more that it's a necessity for being emotionally healthy. ... and yes, my own posts sometimes amuse me too (although it's usually just me who finds them amusing )
I love to laugh and surround myself with people and things that make me laugh every single day.
My three year old grandson can bring on those belly laughs quite often.. But my sons, my friends, my mom and dad.. everyone knows that I can find humor in the damndest things!
Laughter makes my world go 'round, and I've said this before, but the man who can make me laugh every day can own my heart! Great thread!

Oh yes, those senior moments... like putting a pizza in the oven and forgetting to turn the oven on... and then wondering why it's taking so long ...
Oh god yes, babies laughing hysterically does it for me too!

That's a wonderful attitude! I don't check the jokes page, ... don't readily know why not, but I will. That's a great idea to just see something humorous to start or end the day with.
rose150T: I can laugh alone, laughing on myself. But these forums, I love them just because they make me laugh!!!! Not always
well, sometimes I'm not sure wether to laugh or cry at the stuff I read here , but quite often, there's something stated where the author intended to be quite serious, but it's so off the wall that it's actually funny. So yes, I do agree with you.
