Alex is right it is not black and white! But I was commenting on the statement itself rather than looking at what the lie was or the circumstances!
There can be many reasons for not telling people things if we think it can hurt them. Out of wanting to protect someone we love, we may no always be as honest and upfront as we should be! So I guess it really depends on what the lie was and what the circumstances surrounding it were!
There are some things that maybe we can accept and some things we can't, it really depends on the person, the lie and it's after effects!
