I have myself a pity party sometimes..I try to get over it quickly as possible.

once in a while, after checking the house to make sure i'm 100% alone. then i boo dah for about 15 minutes or so.

I do it every now and then (usually for no good reason), but only in private. Seems I feel better the next day, though I don't know why that is

self pity is quite the indulgence. it can be as decadent as carmel fudge ice cream if done in moderation.
if done to excess it can be as damaging as carmel fudge ice cream.
i really like carmel fudge ice cream but too much will make you sick, fat and miserable.

I reckon everyone does from time to time don't they? It's called being human....but as with all things it has to come in a healthy dosage....too much not good, too little weird....

Oh yes, every night when I simply refuse to go to bed without her, every morning when I find I did anyway and all hours in between when I have nothing better occupying me than spending electrons on CS.

Occasionally...usually only for a few minutes, then I clear those thoughts and get positive...negativity gets you nowhere. If I'm down and can't shake it, I put on my CD player with music to lift my soul and light a candle, get myself moving and dancing. It's hard to stay down when you're dancing and your soul is singing!

Self pity is so unattractive but we all have those days. I tend to laugh at myself for indulging and then go on with life.
