englishblueeyes: Well if you know anyone looking for Miss Right send them in my direction!!!!

As my Daddy says - 'You are Miss Right!! First name - Always!!' Sorry could not resist!!!!

Isn't it funny though how as individuals we are all attracted to different things! But that is why we are all so different! Otherwise we would all look like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie!!!

...laugh Fair call, hey,I have a 'wicked and a 'mischievous' sense of humor.....But the point I was trying to make here, some people have such a 'high standard' on what they want in,a so called partner.....with out having a look at there own 'Imperfections'.... grin

I got it!!!

And yes you are right, but having high standards (especially when you have accepted low standards and it hasn't worked out) is no bad thing in my book.

However I do acknowledge that everyone has their faults, I know I do but I am not asking anyone to change their views on my faults, and if they don't like me because of them, so be it, there a certain things that I find unacceptable too!!!!

I hate poor language, and others hate the fact that I smoke, but we can't be things to all men all of the time!!!!

ebe you made some really good points

I have been guilty of trying all of the above and it never works. It's better to be honest about what about you is unchangeable, what is, what you can compromise on, and deal breakers. I won't tolerate a man who yells at me, for instance. I also smoke but am trying to quit. Even so that is likely a deal-breaker for some. We can only do our best. Hopefully, our character stands out above our vices. hug

rolling on the floor laughing I know JD . It tends to sound like this I went to hostipal in an ambliance rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Seriously though on this employers here in Australia are having a tough time with applications especially from teenagers because they sadly write everything as if its a text message.

and also I know with my niece that they encourage the children to write the word as they think it sounds not how it is actually spelt.

Errrr that's my point!!!!

I am helping someone with their degree as English is their second language and as part of the degree we are looking at changing English.

My point is that English, the English I know and was taught , is no longer being used, and that grammar is no longer being used.

Thank you to those who have replied and can understand my point of view even if you did not agree, I was simply asking a question and it seems that many people are in agreement and that some are not, however only one elected to insult me!

I can't help the way I am or that I wish to write correctly and that is not about to change in any way!

That's all down to the text message culture i'm afraid ( apologies if someone has already said this ). Some young people actually think words are spelt as they would send a text message & it's a shame but we can't do anything about it now frustrated
