Intimidation. (94)
Polarbutterfly: When I first became a member,I will admit that I
felt intimidated by some members.I didn't post on
the threads because of this.But,as I read the forums
and what was being said in them,I felt a need to join
in because others (members) were having fun discussing
and what not.I don't think I ever got a reply to any of
my posts.But,I participated all the same.As time went by,
I was given the attention which lead to the making of
friends and also foes.
Have you been in this situation before?What did you do
to become a part of the pack,so to speak?
Or,if you've never posted in the forums and have read
this,why not join in?All it takes is one post,who knows,
your SO may be here on top or below you.

While I now post on many forums, different sites, at first I was slow to post, but after reading some of the stuff people post, I started, and have become friends with many, and I would suspect foes with many more. Being someone who says whats on ones mind, there are not many tree hugger types that like the sound of a chainsaw.

I felt exactly the same PB, seemed i was invisible one point thought about leaving.But guess in a way its like RL, you walk into a room full of strangers and nobody speaks to you until they get to know you abit
