rttjr: More money the gov't doesn't have and another way to tax the hell out of Americans is what this is. Yes, another form of Gov't control. The entire social security system is running on monies that are borrowed from other areas. Where is this funding coming from?????

No disrespect intended sir, but the Social Security accounts in the USA are being borrowed against and spent on other things-[Bailouts for the very wealthy, invasion and occupation of other soverign nations, interest payments on the national debt, etc.]

Nettermann: We call here 'social market economy' the economic model used especially in West Germany and other west european countries. The social market economy seeks a market economic system rejecting both socialism and laissez-faire capitalism, combining private enterprise with measures of government regulation attempt to establish fair competition, low inflation, low levels of unemployment, a standard of working conditions, and social welfare. Nominally respecting the free market, the social market economy is opposed to both a strictly planned economy and laissez-faire capitalism. This system worked very fine during the 80's and i think that system should replace this predatory capitalism.

Thank you for your comments, and for your obvious desire to improve humanity's systems of distributing OUR, finite but plentiful resources.

If only "laissez-faire-capitolism," or "casino-capitolism," were allowed to FUNCTION!

The poorly managed Corperations would simply be bought-out by better managed one's. That is "the American way," is it not?

Instead, a Corperate-Controlled-Government, sucks HUGE amounts of the People's hard-earned resources-[against the People's wishes], then hands it over to the very same wealthy, heartless, greedy-for-more Corperate Executives that caused the global economic melt-down to begin with!

Most of these thousands of individuals "earn" 400 times as much as the average worker.

This is not capitolism. The government's function in a "free-market-capitolist" society is to regulate-[establishing rules ensuring a degree of fairness] NOT to rob from the poor and then hand it over to the already very wealthy. doh

You are still not talking about Capitalism.
It is Statism that you are describing.
In Capitalism Government is not empowered to play favorites.
Not to any side.
