It's my understanding that the angels list in the OP's post (Saint Michael, Raphael, etc.) are the Archangels, a higher dominion or rank of angels than the guardian angels. Traditional Christian teaching is that there are three main ranks or choirs of angels, with guardian angels assigned to the welfare of human beings being part of the lower choirs:

Funniest thing: we're Atheists, but when I was scared to sleep at night my mom told me angels would watch me and keep ghosts away. She said that since my first name is a feminine version of Michael, St. Michael is my patron saint. She said he was an arcangel which made him the best one of all. St. Michael, is sometimes depicted as wearing a suit of armor and a sword.

You are correct in what you say here. Proven many times over and verified in the holy books of many religions.
I think some people who make up sites, like the one linked here, have nothing better to do than write about their fantasies and try to get others to believe in it too. They do people a great dis-service by making stuff up with no truth in it.
I notice there is a lot of this kind of thing on this and other sites. People post crap with no truth in it, without checking first to verify its veracity. They think that because there is a site dedicated to it, that it must be true, when very often it is just someones imaginings.
What a decidedly weird world we live in!
