This old man is never going to accept the 'fact'. Life is too short to not live it to the its best. I don't know what generated this Thread, but there are plenty of 'old' ladies that like old guys.... We just have to find each other. Besides the search and the journey along the way is fun, hard and interesting.

I use to think "40" was "an old geezer"....confused
Now..???
I hit 60, feel like I'm 35-45..
and wonder why the young ones don't want me..dunno
But in all seriousness...
One IS what they ARE..
and I really think/believe that
how one ages is basically the result of
how one lived their life.. i.e food, activity, etc..
The only thing that REALLY aggervates me is that..
Youth IS wasted on the young..!!"crying

Englishman55: I agree with your State of Mind commment, but...... Hugh Heffner
There is a very good reason he is surrounded by "bunnies" and it's a very transparent one at that !!

Yes, that's true, but it still reflects his state of mind!!

Even if it's as simple as "I'm rich!"laugh

RayfromUSA: It's clear you're not a man facing the situation Imsophie.

I agree that there's no set age, and age alone should not discourage anybody. But every man will eventually come to walls and barriers that no amount of "will" are going to get him past.
And when that time comes no amount of effort or will are going to change the situation. It's time to find new interests.

You're right. I'm not a man. But women face the exact same thing, but possibly at a younger age. Sad, but true.

You've got to be kidding, my friend. Does "the older the grape, the sweeter the wine" mean anything? How about, "just because there's snow on the roof doesn't mean there isn't a fire in the chimney" ? I know a gentleman here who just turned 70, and the guy looks like a dang movie star--fit, to die for handsome, and as nice as the day is long. Furthermore, I'm not the kind of person to get too awful naughty or playful, but I will tell you this: "It" gets better, more powerful, more 'intense', more pleasurable, if you want to know the skinny of it. AND, women like older men. (and some men do, too). The brits used to say, "e's a tad bit older, bu' e's randie an' bolder"... it's true, my darlings. So think twice before dissin' us old guys.
