Even more strangely, I can have two pages open on my browser (Firefox) one on the blogs page and the other on the forum, I can log out of the forum page and then read profiles while still being offline from CS, yet online on he second page reading the blogs.
I think this is a browser error of some description rather than a site error.
Oh I also get signed out randomly at times especially when I am about to reply to a thread, which is definitely a site related fault. wave

Laura25: What a load of crap, SB...

First, auto-fill function requires at least a single click to refill these 2 fields,

but OP made it clear that she appears to be signed-in without even getting a sign-in screen upon return.

Secondly, if it were her default settings as you claim, she would have the same problem with other sites, the ones she said do NOT give her this problem.

You must be talking about 'keep me Signed-In {for a period of time}' settings, but it would be application specific and CS does not have this setting.

And lastly, even if you were right,

what kind of instruction is it? --

Quote: UNCHECK: Auto-fill box each time I visit the page/site. ??

For someone who wanted to help, you omitted an awfull lot of info, such as where should she look for these settings to uncheck.

Yet you included absolutely useless for OP info -- your website. LOLOLOL

All I can say..
Is THAT YOUS are ALL correct..roll eyes
Nothing is any of yours or the OP's fault..
CS was designed to hassle the experts like yous..
My help and domains are useless..
and when I, or any again whom request in private
ask for any kind of assistance...
I will either direct them to you two, "tell them CS is at fault",
or just whine and make rude tech-ignorant comments
such as yous do...head banger
Now I'm outta here...doh

Note, you haven't addressed any of the facts which I pointed out to you.

Please make an effort to concentrate and follow what is being discussed here -- it's a problem OP is having and your ignorant(not even tech-ignorant, but plain ignorant) ridicules reply to OP.

Why a need to drag CS into it? ROFL!!!! CS is not being addressed here but your dumb comments are.

And, yes please, do people a favor --

spare them misery of your "celebrating-the-fact-that-your-brain-can-form-a-sentence-assistance"

All the best, SB wave

Could also be lousy programming of the Site!
Like the time when people had all sorts of problems accessing sites with Alternate browsers, because most sites were designed with Internet Exploder in mind..
Some Browser might still be clashing with the Site's programming sometimes.dunno

I assumed that since no other sites have ever done that to me that is was CS, SB. I belong to many different forum, work/business related and chat sites. So crucify me. Oh, wait! You already tried that. Nevermind. Since you won't explain WHERE this other info in my puter is, I suppose I will just have to cripple hobble along without you. Especially since I do not go to other people's website (from dating sites) where they can insert cookies and track me. Survival instinct maybe? Carry on!

Oh, and I reread what I wrote and I am pretty sure I am not accusing anyone of anything. It appears to me that I am asking questions. I let my sister use my computer when she is here and she has a weirder sense of humor than mine. I sure don't want her signing in under me accidentally and 'playing' around the forums.

I have never had that happen...well, yet anyway. Good to know in advance of it happening. Something else I don't understand is why they don't sign you out after a period of time. Some sites do that. I do like that.

That's odd. And you stay signed out on one page and not the other? Is this a separate tab/page or different windows?

O-K..
Look..
go here..

this is a MICROSOFT approvedsite which "tweaks" and
helps one alleviate different "settings" and other
functions in ALL Windows OS..
Another good place for software to help in
maintaining, and PROTECTING your system is

You already know my domains/sites but I think
"I" deal in areas you seem "afriad" to venture..
ASK others about these places..
and if they ARE programmers, (even script babies)
they will affirm my sincerity..
be advisied..
I have ASSISTED MANY in "various" computer,
software, programming, hardware, settings, etc.
HERE on CS..
MANY you know..
I need not (and do not) mention anyone's names..
Not knowing if you are using i7 or Vista, XP (sp2) etc..
I can not know what is in YOUR mind..
Some sites DO "sign-out" after certain period
of inactivity.. some (like banks) will not allow
dual sign in windows (tabs)..
Depending on your OS, what security programs,
(cause some OVER-RIDE settings) and optimizing software,
including MANY browser add-ons.. determine HOW your
surfing sessions will be regulated..
as for add-ons..
if you use Vista (similiar in XP - just slightly different
wording in tabs)..
click on Tools..
click manage add ons..
a window will come up with your add ons..
THOSE ARE NOT what is REALLY running..
go toward bottom middle.. see small tab..
click this..
will then show you ALL add ons.. or current ones..
or ones that run without permission, and
ones that you may not know are there, etc..
you should / can DELETE those YOU did not insert,
stop ones you do not like, and disable those you
feel are causing conflict..
MANY of the areas YOU specify that you frequent
mandate add-ons, cookies, trackers,
data miners, etc., etc. in order for you to use,
be a member, view, participate, etc.
YES.. it IS a browser "error".. and again..
default settings are the settings on a non changed item..
example is "homepage"..
if one does not change the default setting.. well..
but MANY sites TRY to change it "for" you..
SAME with other settings..
change settings in Administrator" mode rather then
a "user" mode..
In Vista..
even though it SAYS you are as "administrator"..
in actuality you are not..
and there is a "hidden" access..
CONTINUED on next post..

HERE are STEP by step..
If you are used to the built-in Administrator Account in Windows previous versions, you can be surprised to find it missing in your Control Panel under the User Accounts section in Windows Vista. This option does exist, but has been hidden by default.
Why has the Administrator account been disabled in Vista?

As the Administrator account gives total access to your computer system, this security measure has been planned by Microsoft to prevent any incident from jeopardizing the stability and security of your system. Consequently, enabling this account is highly discouraged for your computer's security. I would strongly suggest you to avoid this, except if you are undergoing a troubleshooting process that requires the Administrator account's assistance.

Also, note that Vista Beta 2 users should NOT attempt this procedure particularly if you want to password protect the Administrator account. A bug residing in the operating system could seriously disrupt your computer's stability.
How to activate the Administrator Account

Solution 1: Through User Account Control
1. Go to your Start menu and right-click on the My Computer icon.
2. Choosing Manage from the list will prompt a User Account Control (UAC).
3. When you are done, the Computer Management console will appear. Expand the Local Users and Groups option with the use of the arrow next to it and choose Users folder.
4. You can now select the Administrator Account and go to the Actions panel to open More Actions.
5. Choose Properties to open the Administrator Properties dialog box and uncheck the option labeled Account is Disabled.
6. When done, click OK to confirm changes.
7. The Administrator account should now be present on your log in screen.
Solution 2: With Command Prompt
1. Go to your Start menu and in Accessories list, open Command Prompt by right-clicking on its icon and choosing Run as Administrator
2. When the Command Prompt window appears, enter the command net user administrator /active:yes
3. When done, log out from your current account.
4. The Administrator account should now be present on your log in screen.
Solution 3: With Safe Mode
1. You must restart your computer system to be able to boot in Safe Mode.
2. When the Windows screen appears, press the F8 key.
3. From the list, go to the option Microsoft Windows by using your keyboard arrows.
4. Instead of pressing the Enter key, press the F8 key again to display the Safe Mode boot screen.
5. Choose Safe Mode from the list and press the Enter key.
6. You will hence be taken to the log in screen that will display the Administrator account icon among your other current account/s.
How to disable the Administrator Account
Once you have done the necessary changes with the Administrator account, it would be wise to deactivate this option again. To do so,
1. Log out from the Administrator Account and log in on another user account.
2. Go to the Start menu and in Accessories list, select Command Prompt
3. When the window appears, enter the command net user administrator /active:no
4. Your log in screen should now display only your common user accounts.
For the Pro versions (or integrals) the easiest is to use Local Users and Groups
In the search bar in the Start menu, type lusrmgr.msc and validate.
Click Users.
In the window that is right, then to Administrator Properties and uncheck the box "Account is disabled"
Now I HOPE the jerk you THINK I am has
explained things enough..
the sites I gave including my own are ALL reputable,
safe, and loaded with TONS of easy to use/follow
hints, tips, instructions, and even some forums
and q & A areas..
