wildatheart2: Man, are you still at it?!
If it is truly your intention to preach 'the living word', maybe you should learn some more words or at least puntuation.
It's really difficult to take your argument seriously, when you talk like that. Don't get me wrong. I don't believe there is such a thing as 'bad language'. All language is good, but if your intention is just to insult every point you try to make is just lost in a se of so-called profanity.

Hey LV. How you doing?

Very good thanks, hope all is well with youwave hug

A request for you to be nice definately, not blasting everyone from here to the depths of the universe with profanity so vile the dead would vibrate in their resting places, in turn shaking the world like an earthquake.

LaVerdad: I did check out the May I sit there thread, and thought it was a wonderful and sublte way of people talking and gently flirting with each other. Especially what yourself Robert and Gowanheart had written. I found that very moving. And the Goodwill Thread, but perhaps some are just hell bent on arguing and going round in circles. Well that sure is a cracking receipe to make the world a better place

So why didn't you come flirt and play with us?
We were doing OK just lacking numbers.

and may I ask why in the world you come to these threads? You propose nothing in my view, just spouting pessimistic nonsense...uhhh, what am I supposed to say to that? Hmm, lets see.... NOT, and NEVER!

These threads are public.
Having nothing in common with you is not equivalent to pessimistic nonsense.
Sophism is nonsense.Go to school.Other than Sunday School. That is a proposal of guarded optimism.

hollandgirl: Read chapter 53 of Isaiah.
Who is being talked about here you think?

That chapter is very open to interpritation.

Who am I talking about here?

1. Born of a virgin
2. Only begotten son
3. His mother was Mary/Meri/Mirium
4. His 'foster' father was seb/joseph
5. He was of royal descent
6. Born in a cave/grotto
7. Annunciation made to his mother by an angel
8. His birth heralded by a star in the east
9. Birth witnessed by shepherds, announced by an angel
10. Visited by 3 Maji
11. A king tried to have the infant murdered
12. No data between the ages of 12 & 30
13. Baptised at age 30
14. The baptist later beheaded
15. Taken to a high mountain from the desert by the evil one
16. Resists temptation
17. Had 12 close desciples
18. Walked on water, cast out demons, stilled the sea by his hand
19. Raised a man from the dead
20. Performed a sermon on a mount
21. Suffered death by crucifiction
22. Accompanied by 2 thieves
23. Buried in a tomb & Risen after 3 days
24. Ressurection announced by women

I could go on.. Who do you say I am talking about here?

I am paraphrasing from The Egyptian Book Of The Dead.

RillyNiceGuy: In the Bible is a statement that a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. I find most Christains do not understand the meaning and its importance. Do you?

There are various parts of the Bible that are pretty confusing at best. Some parts like specific scriptures can be fairly straight forward. Other parts IMO are totally bizarre & originally written by people to try and explain complex theories as best they could then.
