I've tried many things on my travels. Possum, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Insects, ant eggs, bee pupae, snake, sheep-brain-hot-pot, chicken-feet, frogs, sea cucumber, eggs with crunchy embryo inside, donkey, black pudding, haggis, and British rail sandwiches.
But the one animal I won't eat not because it's disgusting or bad - but because it's man's best friend, and my favourite species on the planet.
I'll never eat dog.

Strange isn´t it. Rabbit is very popular in Spain too, though I
don´t eat it. Even in the UK it was eaten regularly by most people some years ago, cheap and apparently nutritious.
My mother often cooked rabbit stew when we were children, also offal, heart, liver, kidney etc, which I also give a wide berth to.
I´m a wannabee vegetarian.

what i share on this reply actually a bit different with my own topic about what the worst animal that is eaten by human, but this, here we have a famous kannibal, the name is SUMANTO. what he did was to dig the cemetery of new corpse. he said his favourite was an old lady. he did research of which new death and he was then there to dig the dead body and heap the soil back until it's perfectly covered back at night, he brought it home, and just boil it. it was so disgusting. i still remember that time after the TV showed his house and his kitchen yucks yucks yucks i could not eat for maybe 2 days straight, only water i drink coz even though it was blurred in TV i still can see the hands etc etc inside of the bowl on the stove. the case has happened around 4 years ago if i'm not wrong. and he was punished in jail as long as he lives so till now. maybe they have the news if u search it in Google but i haven't checked yet. but well..it should be "what is the most disgusting way of eating that is done by people" i think it's a more suitable topic in this case

Sounds like you'd be a good candidate for Fear Factor ... that t.v. show were they eat all kinds of crazy stuff. Some people refuse and they lose out on the money.

I was served an unknown meat or bird . It was baked but the ribs were soft and the flesh taste something like a cross between a duck and pork. This was near the Beauford Sea, a few km. from the north pole. Eating raw flesh was not uncommon up there. It was Christmas time when it was served and I'll never forget it.
