Being alone for Christmas; What about the homeless that have no home, no food, no possessions, and are also alone? I would think being alone for Christmas is a pretty minor thing when we are warm and our stomachs are full. If we are to feel about about loneliness at Christmas, lets feel bad for those less fortunate than us.

Thanks I hope I wasn't being rude about what I said. I realize being alone is sad for most but my heart breaks at those poor lonely homeless people. We are having extremely cold weather here and those people are wandering the streets. I just can't sit here feeling sorry for myself when I have so much and they homeless have nothing.

In case you did not know this, here in Honduras the custom is to go to a party at 8 or 9 at night, return home at midnight to have a family dinner then return to party until the sun comes up. If you go to sleep before the sun comes up you will have bad luck till next Christmas.
I tried it for two years then gave up, getting too old to do that any more. You have to dance to stay awake.
