If you want you can go to your settings and block just those areas, It sure thinned my scammers to nearly none now.

Its funny; ever since I changed my profile details to living in the US, instead of Ireland, my scammer emails have gone up ten fold..

I didn't know Australia gave out "green cards" too!
Don't worry about marriage proposals from these guys, I used to get a lot of them too, now they all go to the filter box.

Got into a scrape from a Phillipine woman once, was on my way to Hong Kong and she wanted to meet me and told me that she would spend time with me in any country of SE Asia and she would find a hotel room, she phoned me for at least a year, I canceled flight the day before departure as my schedule did not meet up, 9 months later she told me she just had a kid, Huh

I dont blame them - Many are deperate to leave poverty and move to the West where more opportunities exist for them to WORK and make a livable wage. If they need to focus on women from particular nationalities to survive, good luck to them - I say. Besides, women all over the world have been marrying for economic advancement for centuries and still do! - I dont hear much criticisms of that. I live in the United States and regularly get mail from German, English and Australian women seeking men located in the United States, all the time!. Gold diggers arent confined to people fom the developing world so stop being so hypocritical!

An IP-Address is easily spoofed with the proper Applications,so someone saying they are from such and such doesn't necessarily make it so.We as Users of the Site are not able to detect that,so it is best to relay on help from management,if something seems out of kilter.
