GOOD WEEKEND ( Archived) (14)

As a lot of you know, my father underwent triple bi-pass surgery last wednesday. The surgery went well, but they had to go back in to correct a small rupture in a bloodvessel post bi-pass later wednesday afternoon. It wasn't nothing major, but my mom and I didn't know, and we were a nervous wreck. He has progressed very well, and looks like he'll be home tomorrow. They are quite amazed with his progress, especially considering he is a diabetic. So the heavy burden I carried much of last week has been lifted.

Early last week I recieved a email here from a woman near me in Cardington, Ohio, a few minutes away. We talked for some amount of time last week. I came home friday night, and went to her parent's house here in Marion to meet her (she was housesitting while they were out of state). We hit things off very well over the phone, and it continued when we met in person. We went out sunday afternoon, to have dinner and see a movie. Being the romantic sap I am, I got her a dozen white roses. She was so suprised when I walked in the door with them. We had a great time. I also went to see her yesterday, and she cooked a wonderfull dinner, and we hung out.

Things are going quite well right now, and I hope they continue to grow. Only time will tell where this will lead.

Good news on all fronts for you, may it long continue.

glad everything is going good!

I'm gonna see where it leads, hopefully good. There have been some key things I've noticed about her that I really like and haven't seen in other girls I've met in the past couple yrs. Some that really stands out is, she contacted me, and she calls me, isn't afraid to hold my hand or such, very outgoing, oh the list goes on. She displays all the qualities I desire, so I really hope it works out
