And, sometimes, throw in the unusually mixable 'go for a walk'

I take in a good movie, read a book, check out some antique shops, grab a latte, ketch up on all the mountains of mail, take a long walk.

When I was young if I told my Mum Im bored, she would always say
"Bored people are boring people" !
She would help me find some alternatives and still to this day I can always find something to do, be it read or paint or listen to music if I am alone or as someone else said get out and go for a walk. The idiot box is my very last and least likely port of call.
I thank my Mum because those words did help. I so hated the thought of being boring!!!
