bodleing: Hardly surprising. They're world ranking is now 41st, England
are 7th. Quite a difference for a country that used to produce
such good players.

Until they offer competition other than Celtic and Rangers, they will be 'down there'.

Something has gone badly wrong with our north of the border relations.

Plain and simple
Once a dog bites it is really, really difficult to train it not to again. And, if a dog tastes blood, many believe that ruins it. (I tend to agree). All dogs will bite if provoked. In some states, if a dog bites a juvenile, it doesn't matter how serious or not, the dog is put to sleep. There are some breeds (I am ready for an onslaught of disagreement) that pass down an aggressive gene that cannot be "bred out". Lately I read "never, ever, leave an infant alone with a dog". So...this tells me that there is widespread belief that no matter how gentle a dog may appear, or for how long, it can never really be fully trusted.
