Ambrose2007: That's where all the weight-lifting and yoga and philosophic study come in handy.

A real man might also be studied on what goes on with a woman's mind.
A real man who is a weight-lifter would be wonderful, without a beer gut.
I agree with you Ambrose.

why do we lump men into groups> Sorry I do , do this It seems after 49 years of life I have really been able to generalize even though it does seem unfair , all men are quite the same, like as lets say cheating goes. I mentioned this not too long ago. A man did express that he was not like that. I have grown and I would not be surprised at much anymore. When a man used to say he loved me I believed. Him HA! Not looking for love. It would be great not just looking. Now after four children. It is all about them.dancing

head banger True, Dobe, I left out the very necessary psychological study of the human mind. You can't just look at female psychology; as a man, you've got to take a hard look at your own. You don't have much chance of understanding someone else until you've grappled with your own attitudes and beliefs. wave wine

Policepatrol: Why do guys say one thing and do another? I always tell a prospective date to be honest on wither they feel attraction on the first date or not. However, the guy will go out his way to show interest in me on the first date. After the first date, he calls a couple of times. Then, ignore my return call or text message. Why couldn't he just say there's no further interest? If a he describes himself as an honest person but fail to show courtesy in being honest about not being interested, doesn't this show lack of honesty on their part?

I've no idea i find women do exactly the same

Hmmmm..think if I found a man who was willing to work on being with me..taking me for my good and bad..I would love and respect him whether he has a beer gut or not. You can always change the physical appearance of someone if they are willing..but personal growth, ethics, and honour..that is something that's not easily learned. JMHO dunno

Ambrose, true again, but I do check out my mind all the time. I do understand myself better that way.

I wish men would try to figure themselves out a little and say more what they think instead of keeping it locked up. Maybe they do know and do not want to say, heck if I know. Again, we are not mind readers.

I admit, men say the same with us. So I do try to explain exactly what I am thinking.

I would also like to see men concentrate on big problems and forget about the baby ones, and if there is a real problem talk about it. Getting mad over little things is a big waste of time.

Ok, Nanners, sorry, that is right, forget the belly if he has one.
I agree, take me as I am and love me, vice versa. I agree so much about personal growth, ethics, and honor. Also put in my wish list, hugs.

Nope, that's too easy.laugh

Gotta discuss it from every angle, create a few threads, and bash the crap out of men/women for not loving us the way we want to be loved. roll eyes

Real men/women....we're all real. it's just some of us don't fit that preconceived mold that's expected. laugh

Agree.... off topic, but knowing 'why' to this question,or any question for that matter, doesn't solve your problemm.

Just be aware THAT...guys or women do things that bother you,and make a decision....to either accept it,or turn away from it.

It's called having choices in life...

So true Wall.. most of us will not find that "perfect person" we are searching for, the best we can hope for is someone we are somewhat compatible with....
