Not true for me as well... my ex sold his new red Corvette 3 wks. before we got married, b/c he'd had a past g-friend who only went out with him for a car he had at the time.
Only problem... the motor in the car he traded the 'vet for went out a few days before the wedding...and we were planning to drive to our honeymoon
