anneh88dublin, Dublin Ireland37 Threads 2 Polls 625 Postsi was in town today and my heart melted there was this little girl completely lost no older then 3 a few ppl bunched in to help her find her mammy and daddy about 15 mins later she spotted her mam and ran over her mam didnt even realise she had gone missing she was up to her eye balls on drugs after seeing that poor little girl so frightened and to think the mam didnt even realise she was gone is so hard to imagine for a mam and that child question is should drug users have children?

bcos u know when a gang are together and the whole lot of them are on heroin theyre are always in dub city its sad and as for losing kids yeah it happens all the time but anyone in their right mind would notice after a min or two it wudnt b over 15 mins unnoticed god knows what cud of happened to that child and they do have the kids out in town til 11 or 12 at night while they shoot up its digustin
ya its really sad, i see it everyday at work, its big cycle!!!! And then u see decent ppl who can have kids at all!! its really sad...........

Good post. However, you can't 'legislate' births.

I have 'lost' my kids myself, but would know right away if they weren't with me. I admit to letting my kids wander off in tesco while i do my shopping,( saves me a fortune on all the 'extra' i find I have paid for unwittingly otherwise!!) but that is at 9, 11 and 12 years old. When they were 3 , if I couldn't see them for more than a few seconds I would have been freaking out.
If ,at that age, they were even out of my sight, i would have always erred on the side of caution and been that maniac woman running up and down shouting their name. what's a bit of embarrassment at finding they were hiding behind a clothes rack, compared to a Jamie Bulger situation??

No kids no benifits no childrens allowance money. Some of them have the kids just to get the money. I have heard " sure its not worth my while just having the one "

On that issue of child benefit child benefit should be limited to 3 children, generous child benefit encourages the terminally poor to breed kids by the bucket load, if someone has 6 kids they should only get child benefit as the same for 3 kids.

True. I always found it odd how you need a licence to have a tv and a dog but anyone can have kids

before you get slammed for that comment i can say that I have personally seen in my job people( that have never worked a day in their lives) tell me- if I have another kid, 'I'll get a better house and more money..'
the childrens allowance is a sticky one, because you shouldn't punish the child for the parents behaviour but I do think that it shouldn't just be cash- as that can be used for anything the parents want, not for the kids which is who it is intended for.

The unfortunate reality is many times social services wont make the hard call and take kids off unsuitable parents. They listen to every excuse from wasters who know if they lose the kids, they lose out on benefits. I knew a junkie that had so many final chances with social. She knew when to clean up her act just to get social off her back. In a few weeks, back to normal. Very cynical.

Well they stop been such bleeding heart do gooders and hit these wasters emotionally where it hurts the most by placing the poor unfortunate kids into foster care.
