"I look a lot younger than my age"

"My friends tell me I look a lot younger than my age"

Is this the ultimate in conceitedness? How many friends tell someone they look a lot older than their age? And in most of the cases - who are they trying to kid?

Is it a big turn off and does it indicate someone who is hugely vain or up themselves?

And if it isn't the biggest turn-off, what is?

Many people take it as a compliment being told they good younger.

But for me it is more they look good for their age, not younger.

Getting older is what quite a few people find very difficult to accept. Embrace it. Carry on in your life the way you want to. Regardless of how others think you look.

For me the biggest turnoff is aggression then arrogance and yes, I suppose vanity would be somewhere on the list!

Or is it indicative of somebody valuing themselves on what they see as their best asset?

Would you think it conceited if somebody said that they were well educated, or had a particular talent?

Personally, I'm rather thrilled that I finally stopped looking like a 13 year old in my mid thirties and proud to announce that I haven't been sold a child ticket for anything for three whole years.

I was not referring to the OP but to people in general.
People have the option not to put a profile pic on and I have used that option because I am not here to find anyone as I only log in to chat to people I have come to know on here.

I've not noticed that - I'll have to look out for it - probably before the time I've got to any detail in the pics I'd read their profile, gagged and moved on thumbs up

It shouldn't matter either way if you are not looking for a soulmate...the thing with no photos is a lot of trolls don't have one,or married people looking to cheat. It just makes me feel better to see who i am talking to....thats just my opinion..wave
