I am sorry for your son and for you, that could happen anywhere, most any country but the good thing is that he is alive and he will have to take some more precautions where ever he is going to live.

Im sorry to hear this happened..Thats terrible..Ya its a big city and not a good place to walk around alone at nite..I've been there and wouldnt venture out on the sidewalk past 10 pm even with my ex husband with me at the time and we stayed in a good area on fifth avenue..I hope your son will be ok..
