I would have them arrested and press charges, go to court. This is not a friend, this is a user.

I would confront that person in person and let them know that they have been stealing from me. Then ask why as a friend they could not ask for help .If it was for servival i might forgive. But if it was just for money to buy drugs or somthing no. They would know eather way i was pissed off for what they had done. .

I did confront them and they are threatening to file a report against me for telling people they still lie and pawn stolen items they said it is slander. But in the same breath admited to steeling from me and pawning what they had stole. I told them they were dead to me.

Well, I certainly wouldn't let the person come around anymore. That's the least you could do. If they continued to come around and steal from you, then do what you gotta do. Don't let people take advantage of ya. I don't care what their reason is for doing it. It's just wrong.

Don't let them come around! If they do, tell them to leave. Cut off all communication with them. They are not going to file any report against you. If they feel the need to steal and pawn stuff from you, they certainly are not going to pay a lawyer for his services. I wouldn't even waste my breath on them any more......just causing you to get upset. Odds are they aren't listening anyway.

For one thing, I would NOT deal with them, I'd let the police do it. Go file a police report, gather information about your belongings and let the law handle the situation.
As for any further dealings with them, uh hellllloooooooooo...no...they'd be so gone. Three things I have no tolerance for:
beater
cheater
liar (this covers many different areas and situations)
Someone does something like that to me, they're gone, done and completely finished..GAME OVER!
