Doesn't this weather show how good people can be?

My neighbour rang me this morning to advise against driving as, like everywhere in the country, some of our roads were impassable. They said they were going to try to get into town (they have a bus that is equipped for this weather) and asked if I needed anything.

I told them I'd love a small bag of coal or briquettes but only if it was safe and not to take any risks... I have some oil so I'm not stuck.

A few minutes ago the same neighbour arrived at my door with a large bag of coal, 2 bales of briquttes and 2 litres of milk.

With all the doom and gloom around at the moment isn't it lovely to see the goodness and consideration in people.
