Okay apparently mine isn't the only YouTube messing up!! Your's is too Colleene??
Another way to do it is to 'right click' then the very first thing on there is 'copy video URL' paste that inbetween example: [ youtube ] copy video URL [ / youtube] no spaces....
I can't believe that I'm THAT dumb not to be able to do this
Question: The box where I'm supposed to past the link already has comething in there. Am I supposed to delete that and then type youtubepastmylinkyoutube in that spot

What happens if we actually try to show you on here with the formula, part of it will not show up. With that in mind what you need to do is put these things all together without any spaces...on here we have to space so you can see. This is what you need:
[ youtube ]the actual link or URL [/ youtube]
because my YouTube is messing up for some reason, I put my cursor over the actual video right click with my mouse and the very first thing that pops up is: "copy video URL", click that, that will go in your bold area instead of what is written in bold here which is the actual link or URL...you still need the [ youtube ] and the other one with the "/" in the right order [ / youtube ] with NO spaces at all. Everything is squished together even the middle...which will be pretty long.
To make sure it works, 'preview post' before 'post reply' it will show the video if you did it correctly!!

Good luck!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write all those instructions, but, I'm still
When I right clicked on the video I didn't get the words "copy video URL".
One question: Where it says Link, there is a box and in that box is a link. I know how to copy a link. If I copy the link should I add it to the end of the link that's in the link box OR delete the link in the box and paste the link I copied in there?

Yes it will say share then click on it (it will then say 'link to video') and copy it then add it to this:
[ youtube ]add your copied link[ /youtube ] remember there is no spacing though!
P.S. (for some reason mine is all messed up and won't work that way, I do have to click with a right click of the mouse in the middle of the video when it's going and get that other thing that says 'copy video URL'. This has just been happening to mine since last night...have no idea why)
