You obviously haven't seen the thousands of, wee skenk single mothers kicking about our streets over here! They never had any plans to build a career, but by getting pregnant young, they qualify for all the benefits going!!

among many of my male friends from the West...their ladies are the boss,even if they don't do right things,being unfaithful,cheatin with their best friends behind their backs(N MEN FORGIVIN EM OVER N OVER AGAIN!!!),or refusing to have children proclaimng their jobs are more important thing in life,not cookin and sleepin peacefully at nights while their husbands ' r feedin babies late nights...runnin early in the morning to their offices to gain money for their families and comin back home with no dinner on their tables....and so on n oni don't understand why are you calling this changing a problem...

Have you never stopped to consider they may be spinning you a yarn? Many males would have you believe they are the victim while they essentially are the scumbags - I do hasten to add not all...

I think it's still to do with individuals - although the man being the sole bread winner has changed mostly because the western world is not cheap.
I'd probably have had kids years ago but my parents were a lot older than those of my same age friends so I was a carer for my elderly and ill dad in my procreative years so had no time left for babies after a 9 or 10 hour day at work and several hours looking after my dad.
My brother was a stay at home dad as my sis in law was the higher earner and my brothert shared the caring duties for dad with me.
Having said that I know a lot of couples now where the woman is the stay at home mum and the man is the bread winner.
