jodestir: yes ... I have .. it was actually a really weird sort of thing from the very beginning ... I recognised his profile pic .. He was a guy i saw fleetingly 10 or so years prior and for some reason his image stayed in my memory .. We chatted online .. convo flowed along smoothly ... so we met up .. in a public place .. both with our own cars ... we had a pub meal .. chatted for ages and ages .. i couldn't believe the time when i saw what it was .. Ooops! bit late .. time to go home .. then i just said *See ya* and drove off home ... I made it perfectly clear to him up front there was going to be NO hanky panky. ... so none of that stuff was expected ... As well as the date went, i just didn't feel that *spark* .. that *something* that made me want to see him again .. so yeah .. that was it .. end of story .. ..
Perhaps the lighting in the pub was not right.laugh

... the lighting was fine ... physically there wasn't an issue .. in fact, he had gorgeous sparkly green eyes ... it was more about his personality and what he was into .. just a tad dodgy for me ... cool

I met a couple of people on line. The first one we just did not hit it off and the second one was a wondeful experience. We had a relationshio for a couple of years til it ended. You always have to be cautious though no matter if you are a male or female. Anything can happen.

I'm no expert, but I have had experience.dancing

I have been on a lot of dates from the internet.

Most of them were.....how can I say...not what I expected, a few were more than expected but didn't last for various reasons.

one became the father of my child....we've been toghether for 3 years.

and now, I'm ending this phase of rebound.....not really looking but open for something new...

never had horrible experiences, all my dates were okay really.
it was just the missing of chemistry with some of them.

so no bad experience for me.

Yeah, I've gone out on some dates with CS men. They're people like anyone else.

As for your bad experience, there are losers like that everywhere, not just online.

YES I have ... about 4 times and it was ok (not bad but not really good)... They are just uglier than I imagined.. LOL their pics were good but in real they are just -->thumbs down & nerd and one guy was a liar! He told me he was 38 !! Damn! in fact he's 50!!!! I wouldnt mind being anyones friends if they are honest but I hate the most is a LIAR!

Now... 3 of 4 are still my friends, smile we still talk ( I dont feel like them as a lover) but for that ugly liar I absolutely deleted him from my memory.

However I never wanted to meet anyone again right now unless they come meet me here. hurrr almost give up.. sigh
