I've read this thread with great interest.
Ive not been on an actual date as yet. Just lots of chatting.
Even as a guy. I'm probably extremely over cautious. I'm just thankful that I'm not a woman else I'd probably find it even harder. Especially with the seemingly increasing number of creeps out there.
But as someone else infered, 'one bad apple should'nt spoil the whole bunch'.

I have met many men from dating sites.None of them are what I would consider awful.The vast majority of them were nothing more then coffee meets and we never saw each other again.The handful I did go on a date again were not awful either,just not compatible.

Yes, I do date men I meet online. Most have been good experiences. I simply have the attitude of smile, laugh, have a good time, no grand expectations. I have made some good friends, a short-term relationship, a long-term relationship. A few odd ones for sure as well.

No I didn't have this kind of date yet
But I think if two person have good understanding, compatibility ,good listener, have patient
both are trustworthy , loyal to each others
then no one can break their relationship

Yes after talking to them for a long time on the phone, but when you meet in person it's soooooooooooooo different. Sometimes the spark is just not there and trying to get away is kind of hard, when you don't want to hurt their feelings.

Dreamyone: I guess I should say, yeah I met him on here (the second) and we both travel a lot and it seemed we were always in different parts of the world. He asked me to quit, but not quite ready although I did for a bit.
Dang, now I miss him!!!

Exactly. I've been using CS since the end of October and have had a number of dates with other members. It's a resource and should be approached with common sense and lack of fear.
