Damn right! They might take that Right from us here next month, but that changes nothing on the Fact, that Selfdefense is MY Right and Responsibility, and if you deny me the Tools to exercise that right, you ain't my Friend!

I've lost count of how many guns I have, especially considering half of them used to belong to my brother before he died last year.
I keep a .357 close to the bed while all others are buried in the closet. Being the only one who lives here, I'm not afraid of shooting someone I know. The only time one or more comes out is when I go to the family camp. Due to the coyote population there, it isn't safe walking around the area. Within the past few years, it seems a mountain lion has moved into the area also. I haven't seen it but have seen it's tracks.

There are so many things in a home that can be used as a weapon. Apply hairspray to ones eyes and they will cry like a baby I think if a person is responsiable enough yes keep a gun at home. Some I believe should not. But the courts here pretty well weed them out. Some are mature enough to know they don't need a gun in their possesion. Quick tempered. Those who react and think afterwards. But it is a right to bear arms over here and I do support that right.

Tonight i had a nice night watching the sun go down, down on the melbourne bay. No wind, 30C lots of laughter and chatter about. Then we were suddenly interrupted by a fight between two youths, one with a samurai sword. Ended with one getting slashed. Quite hilarious on an otherwise blissful evening Yeah so keep em at home if your really that afraid to need one.

Glad you all had Fun! See,you can even outlaw Guns, and still have all sorts of killings! Ever seen an Expert wield a Cutlass?
I think the theory is fine, but what concerns me is the mentality of the person with the weapon. To use a weapon effectively and safely,a person needs to be in complete control of themselves all the time, and especially when confronted by an assailant. Shooting at a firing range or hunting gives the skills, but pointing a gun at a person and pulling the trigger is something different. In fact, using any weapon carries the same responsibility. I can see the diffleculty faced by the decision makers,as they cant legislate for those capable,or those that would be a liability.

Yeah and how many people can safely say they are in complete control of their emotions or judgment at all time. If you say you have you are lying. We are human we all have our dark sides we keep hidden away

How do you know who or what i am? How are you in a position to know anything about me? What do you know about my background,my feelings or my abilities? Does calling me a liar make you feel good? To me,the comment you have made about someone you no nothing about proves my point.People who, like you, make irrational judgements are a danger.
