The answer to that depends on how MUCH younger they are, I think 
When you're in your 40's or 50's say, and men ten years younger are interested, in can be because they are genuinely more attracted to mature women for their mindset, stability, life experience etc.
But when you're in your 40's, or in my case, 50's, and you're getting hit on by 20 somethings, it's just plain wrong if you ask me
Maybe it's just fashionable, who knows

They are usually around the 26 yo mark. I think you are right in saying that we probably offer stability but it can be annoying because there is nothing going to come out of relationship with such a big age difference and I would prefer to meet someone my own age will mostly have more in common.

No ... it's not a modern phenomenon, it wasjust hidden so much more in the past. I even remember the scandal of the young Italian Hairdresser (mid twenties) romancing the 40 plus year old wife of the movie theatre owner in my little town of Murupara in the early 60s. I wasn't meant to know but I have been collecting information for many years, I'm a sneaky sod and have a memory like a Borg computer.

Awww that is so nice and something I think all us women would like to hear..
Because having a wife 10-15yr older than me would mean we would both depart this world at around the same time seeing women live 10-15yr longer on ave. than men do.

Not True :) The young girls today give it ALL to freely....
They like older women, because there is no BS or game playing..
And it's great, older men have been with younger women for years.
It;s great that times have changed where younger men feel free to be with an older women without the stigma, and visa versa.
