so. if anyone else can celebrate their ancestors than nobody should have a problem of southern people doing that. the only people who don't like southern people are at MSNBC which is a liberal channel
MSNBC is a corrupting force in our Society. They talk about the Fairness Doctrine and are trying to take Rush, Glenn and Fox off of the air when in fact, MSNBC should be taken off.

"The best recent estimates are that between 33,000 and 55,000 men from BNA served in the Union army, and a few hundred in the Confederate army. Many of these men already lived in the United States; they were joined by volunteers signed up in Canada by Union recruiters.
Canada refused to return 15,000 American deserters and draft dodgers.
Edward P. Doherty was a Union Army officer who formed and led the detachment of Union soldiers that captured and killed John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of Lincoln, in a Virginia barn on April 26, 1865, twelve days after Lincoln was fatally shot.

one of the main reasons that the war was fought was simple economics. The Yankees wanted our cotton but didn't want to pay for it so we chose to send it to England. They needed it for their mills
More Americans died in that conflict than any other. And as long as we don't get tricked again into fighting wars for other countries like we did in Iraq, it could that sad "record" for a long time.
