Yer I think I'd keep it quiet, depending on how much I won. They say winning the lotto can be more trouble than it's worth especially with the family.

To write in capitals is like you are yelling at us

I would wage a campaign for people use at least a little etiquette when writing on the forums! professor and I quote from ....

This part of the chapter is not just for newbies; even if you've written e-mail for years, review this section carefully. Certain unspoken conventions are very important to keep in mind when you're composing e-mail messages. If you were a novice before, you need to be a professional now.

* ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE IS TO TYPE WITH THEIR CAPS LOCK ON. All-caps might look cool to you, but experienced users will write you off as an idiot. It's okay to use all-caps for headings and/or titles in your messages, or even to EMPHASIZE certain words, but anything beyond that is equivalent to screaming at someone. Do you like being yelled at? professor

If I won lotto, it would actually be a bloody miracle, cause I dont ever buy tickets for it.. rolling on the floor laughing

but on the off chance that I somehow did win, I'd get the block of land I've always dreamed off, share some with family and friends, and make sure that my fav charity got a nice surprise too.

I have thought about this one and apart from the kids, grandkids and friends, one thing I would do would be to go to all of the supermarkets throughout the region on a regular basis and just randomly pay for what people have at the checkout be it a trolley full or a couple of items.

Really up to the person, i don,t worry to much, and as long as i can read what is written that is all that matters, plus i think we can establish who is shouting or yelling, plus some people may find it easier to write that way, and easier to read what they have written, no problems.

Mm, this is nice, random acts of kindness grin

I'd definitely buy me a nice little cottage, a little flat for my son, so that he can never be moved on again conversing
and probably shout my daughter and her family an overseas trip.

And a big fat donation to an animal welfare group dancing dog

I think I just spent the lotto win twice over laugh

I hardly ever play lotto either, although I did win about $20 twice which is almost as many times as I have played.

If I did manage to make it big, the very first thing I would do, before the cheque even clears is hire an accountant to tell me what to do. I don't want to be one of those people who blow the lot within a couple of years of getting it.

first pay off the mortgage, then organise for a house to be built for my parents to move into, and do up theirs once they moved.

After that I am not sure, probably go to a accountant/financial advisor and invest most of the rest of it, depending on of course how much I won!!

and yes there would be donations to worthy causes as well, definately share some of it around
