chris27292729: You did not answer the question, and i ask you again. Is the burka a religious dress for muslim women Yes or NO.The nuns and the monks have a religious dress, inside the monastery and display it outside only when have something to do,like shopping.-Nuns and monks volunteraly have accepted this religious dress code, for serving God.While in a Muslim society, the husband or father can impose his will, and force wife or daugher to have the Burka on.- How the hell, can compare forced(fathers+husbands) will, with a voluntaraly one (nuns+monks).

Burka can be religious or not doesn't matter . There are Muslim French citizens who is willing to wear that . I personally know a lot of woman who love to wear their cultural/religious dress . It doesn't make them pre historic . Its their values . Accept it as long as they are not asking your wife and children to wear that forcibly . Diversity is the key for survival for all nations. Anything imposed is oppression and violation of human rights

chris27292729: If for 4 generations don't have been westernised sent them back, but is not the previous generations, those have assimilated in general in France,is the new arrivals, who they think, uppon arriving, others they have to accept their religious dressing code.

this new law wasn`t questionable till less than a week ago ..You can`t expect that people just sell everything they have and move out, or to change their centuries old tradition over night

France passed the law for security reasons. They seem to be ahead of alot of countries on this law. Weapons can be hidden in headcoverings. If you have ever worked in a position of security you would understand that.

Of course it is .If someone is wearing burkha as part of their religious or cultural identity ,banning them amounts to violations of human rights and religious freedom . What should be noted is not everyone wear burkha forcibly . Thats just a generalization handshake

Like I said you have never worked security. I have seen more then my share hidden in headgear. The reason being it is often a place that is not searched. The person will tell you it is for religious reasons that they wear the headcovering and they cannot take it off to be searched. You would be surprise that when people are wanded with a metal detector, that very seldom is the head area included. So those that are being used as mules to get illegal items into places will put it in their headgear or under their headcovering.

So this is not an excuse but the truth of the matter.

Remember this law came about because on June 15, 2010, No full body x-rays of Muslim women because it is against Dunbai's national customs and ethic.

This did not just stop there but Muslims have implimented this new rule around the world.

At security points around the world Muslim women are claiming they can not have full body x-rays and can't be pat searched for religious reason.

matchbox: new law in france, women are banned from covering their face anymore, thats a law from now on, what do you think about this??

I don't know if the ban defeats its purpose. Some of the more calculating Muslims want us to persecute the Muslim community in general, as this will no doubt galvanise their extremist elements.

This is what Islam(and to a lesser extent Judaism)does, by refusing to adapt to the host nation it invokes a defensive spirit amongst the natives. This is then construed as persecution, which from there is used to justify extremism/expansionism in the case of Islam and separatism in the case of Judaism.

Nobody expects them to change over night, but the Law say, NO burka outside, either you obey the law or face the consequences. The law in western countries is above the religious one, irrispective,if some people disagreed with it (the law).-

No,but the person behind the scan, boarding a flight, can see your wife ( figurative speaking)naked and is nothing you can do about it,despite your ordering her, wearing the burka, just because noone has the right but you,to see any tiny flesh of your wife.
