I was at the local dog park the other week with my border.
All rugged up with scarf, coat, sneakers, I was wandering around keeping an eye on my occasionally unruly hound.(She kept pinning down the boy dogs!!!)...as others chatted away...
Then a lovely young man, around 30'ish tops, started patting Jessie, then asked after her name, then chatted some more, then asked my name, then pointed out his own dog, several times...I tell ya......Where were these lovely young men 20yrs ago?????
I know ... I think they were all married and being made bitter and twisted
I think that we meet the people we are best intune with when we are doing the things we enjoy... JMO
You misunderstood me, Billy. I did try with my commas, but didn't work.
I meant the word 'right', as in correct. That is, you would be correct that no-one would want to be 'picked up'. At least, I wouldn't. For me, that term has connotations of a kind of a meat market scenario, and it isn't my scene at all.

its not being picked up that would worry me, its the possibility that the drunken romeo would most likely drop me...
