In this age of Cougars, what do you consider a reasonable age difference between prospective partners?

Well Norm I know what you are asking DONT EVEN GO THERE.
From when you first came on here you have gone from the sublime to the ridicules.

You have been badly hurt and going with someone much younger would be so wrong for you, anyway about 10yrs either way is ok still on the same wavelength.JMO doh

I'm not sure how much older than myself I would go. 10years is definately ok with me but I couldn't go younger than me by more than a year or 2. Don't know that I would even go younger...dunno

You cant put a number on age when love happens. Otherwise it depends. Do you want to bring up another daughter, or do you want a mother to look up to? Theres a lot of young women out there looking for the father figure they never had.

If you go out with someone and you are happy with each other - then good luck to you.
I saw a Tshirt on an old bloke the other day that made me laugh - he was probably in his early 70's and the tshirt said "cougar bait"

I had a relationship with someone 13 years older than me.

It worked for a long while as he was immature for his age, then he hit 50 and aged beyond belief in months. In attitude, not body.

So now I would prefer someone closer to my age, as no way do I want to be the older by that many years, and dont want the same for myself again.

I have seen relationships of great age differences work, but they take a hell of a lot of work from both people to keep it on an even keel day by day.

Things differ between each person, maturity, past relationships and what each wants and needs for their future.

good luck Normal if you take on a youngun
