Two biking weekends this year also, both in North Wales. The first one on Anglesey along the coast, and last weekend in Porthmadog which was particularly good. I put my bike on the Ffestiniog mountain railway and took a journey up into the mountains of Snowdonia. The ride back down to Porthmadog on the coast, mainly off road was excellent and of course predominately downhill.yay

My next outing will probably be in The Peak District which is on my doorstep.thumbs up

I spent some time at Llandegla in north Wales,, took the trip there with a couple of cousins.. Gave us time to do some catching up,, and enjoy the beautiful views.. Some of the up hill parts were a little too much,,, but made us appreciate the down hill parts even more!!

Happy and SAFE riding folks!!

grin

Last time I was at Llandegla there was a fair covering of snow on the ground which added a little 'something extra' to the downhill runs.grin
But yes, the views from the forest are indeed beautiful.

Great cafe there also...thumbs up

It would be nice to do something like that but usually a trip around the lake or over some logging roads up near my parents are all we have time for.

Yeah, road rash is no fun. I scraped up my arm and knees pretty good a couple of years ago and Rose flipped her bike last year.
