anonymous1: If they felt like they were being represented... they would not be willing to go to jail to say they weren't.

Can you now back this statement up with the writs they have made and the names of congressional leaders they have contacted along with meetings they have conducted with same or are you just shooting blind here?

anonymous1: Making a law that forces people to obtain a permit to protest, or demonstrate, is unconstitutional, and illegal; it abridges the right of the people to have "Freedom of Speech," and to "Peaceably assemble, and petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Supreme court has allowed it. You know the Supreme Court don't you?

anonymous1: Thank you for making it clear that you are defending the actions of an "Occupying Force."

I saw one of them wearing a Code Pink T-shirt..

Code Pink is a group of anti war protesters, which was begun by grandmothers.

I have worked with Code Pink; I have helped do research for their protests, I have protested with them, and gone to jail for taking pictures of the police harassing little old ladies.

If you look up the story online... you will see that the last guy arrested was a veteran war protester.

If you look at the video... the officer was not against them dancing at first, but against their demonstrating.

Albertaghost: Better read article one in which the constitution describes the congress, executive and the legislative body and how they are placed in the position to run the country. You know, the people that make laws you don't like.

Red herring, straw man. How the gov is constructed is irrelevant to the people's rights. I know you have a million of these tangential things to say but they're moot IN context.

In response to:
It also describes what you can do when there is a law you don't like so that you don't have to resort to breaking numerous laws in order to attract attention to yourself.
Better have a look at article one as you're really coming off as uninformed here.

They broke no laws, yet you say numerous! What a trip. Talk about uninformed. Defending your rights is not law breaking.

In response to:
Oh, and you compared the Boston tea Party to the dancers, ludicrous. As I said, the British were taxing the hell out of the US people without giving them a vote. The dancers all have votes. All they have to do is to apply them properly.

Wrong. (for about the 99th time but who's counting lol) I did not. That was Anon who brought that up. This is how badly you are unable to follow the discussion. You're only recourse is to recuse, grab posts out of context and manipulate facts from the dust of mis comprehension.

Occupying power legal definition of Occupying power. Occupying ...
Military occupation occurs when a belligerent state invades the territory of another state with the intention of holding the territory at least temporarily. ...

They're both great documents that have been abrogated Conrad.

Did you read the link on Presidential Relatives?

A long time ago I came across a document that showed genealogical heritage as far back as King David. I can't recall where I found it; but the wiki link is scary enough for anyone who thinks they're under the the governance of 'elected' rather than 'chosen' people.

Look at the crowd. No one is annoyed or even upset until the 3rd Reich decides they don't have to answer to legalities, much less 'rights' and begin pinning people down in disregard of the constitution.

If you personally are annoyed ... well .... I suggest you take some dance lessons, it really is fun.

I know logical fallacies are your specialty.

But the proof stands alone, no matter who you use to attempt to demean or denounce it's legitimacy.

Albertaghost: Let's see, in the recent past you have personally insulted and attacked those who would post facts to counter your contention that the US government themselves conducted the WTC attacks, dancing at memorials is legal despite it being by law illegal and that despite being shown that the attack on Bin Laden was legal according to UN Charter, you contend that it was illegal. In these threads, you insulted all those who countered your anti American hubris and here, you even refer to the US as terrorists, bullies and right wing Christian bullet heads.

Seems you are projecting a bit. liar

He'll be alright when he gets a grip on his auto responsive coping mechanisms.

He does actually contribute some stuff once in a while even if it is straw man mostly. There's always something to learn.

England...why am I not surprised; but it is a matter of perspective isn't it; being shown just how far things will be permitted to go is a good warning for those who oppose this insanity; it brings it all out in public for all to see. Now, it is up to those who are adamant in their opposition to put a bit of sanity back into the equation; target the people responsible for this outrage...however best deals with the situation, I leave to those involved, but the longer it is allowed to go on, the harder it will be to stop and stop once and for all. The State exists to serve the people, not the other way around.

And if nobody did what they were told, we'd have cars crunched and piled up at every intersection in twisted rubble, trains wouldn't run, planes wouldn't fly, our society would collapse and we'd live in a madhouse full of idiots starving to death while snarling at each other that they'll do what the hell they want.

Maybe somewhere in the middle is a sane world where people respect each other to some nominal degree and standards of acceptible behavior are understood and followed.
