montecito: Would someone please explain to me what you guys mean by people not being real on here.
As you read this post, who do you think pressed every key to make the letters appear on your screen.
If someone writes a post, aren't they real? If not, how does the post get written? I'm sure that question will prompt sarcastic comments from some and that' okay but I really would like to know why all this fuss about real people, real pictures and people with no picture.
I've heard many of your refer to fake pictures but you also complain about those who don't have a picture.

I think this is dealing with people who put up fake personas on here... basically scammers and trolls.

so far iv met 1 real person on here,and hes still a friend...the others yes tell me about their whole day,minute by minute but dont ask how mine was,just looking for someone to listen mayb and this is ok...3 date offers but im v cautious as they dont want to talk on phone to get to know me so i know its not real then as i can sense what a person is like by chatting with them..met a lovely guy recently who i got to know very well but hes reluctant to meet.i will respect his wishes but its a shame...

If they won't talk to you by phone or skype, it's usually for a good reason (on their side). Skype with a webcam is your best method of screening them.

And, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some really sick ones on here who create a fake persona to live vicariously through it... because their lives are so dull and/or depressing in reality.

No, not necessarily. There are some people who put up fake pics and play/flirt with people with no true aim of really getting to know someone. If they did then their fake pics or profiles would be rumbled pronto. These are the people members should avoid at all costs, not the trolls who only visit to cause trouble, and are either a source of amusement or an irritation depending on one´s mood.
