Well it is probably as unnatural as we here telling them we raise dogs for pets and pigs for food?
I have heard from a few people that pigs make excellent pets and have a better sense of smell than dogs, but I couldn't imagine a pig sniffing suitcases before they go from the airplane to baggage collection. Although if the pig is toilet trained it may happen.
On a tv programme last night it showed how pigs heart valves resemble human heart valves and can be used in transplantation. Boars hairs make great hairbrush bristles. Gelatine from pigs is in not only confectionary but also a lot of make-up (mascara and lip gloss etc).

Crickets... well, blugills love 'em and they make great fish bait.
But don't knock goat until you've tried it, bud. And snakes.... well, that's about the same as a really long chicken neck. I've got a theory about the dinosaurs. Seems that scientists say that birds are actually the ancestors of the dinosaur. And that would explain why they went extinct. Critters that weigh 10,000 pounds and taste like chicken just wouldn't have lasted long. Just sayin'.
