I work for a bank and we see stuff like this all the time! the biggest clue is all of the misspelled words!

I never open anything via email that says it comes from the IRS, my bank or any other "official" government agency. If these places wish to contact you, they will do so via mail. Even when they set up a telephone interview, they send a confirmation letter through the postal system.

It pays to be wary of anything you get in your inbox that you don't ask for.

Heck, I wish they would lock my "tax account".
