Although there is a political divide between the North and South of Cyprus, No.... to my knowledge, we do not have a terrioist situation here... In almost 8 years of living here, I have certainly never had reason to worry in that respect.

Ok,as a retiree I'm looking for a peaceful and quiet place...also I have my American private healh insurance...and some EU countries had made a kind of agreetment with the U.S.government about the health care...to be realistic,I think I'm looking for Utopia...by the way,Germany has a good museum in Munich...it can take to a person 30 days to see the whole thing...is called,The German Museum..."What are you looking for - what are your requirements?"

Hiya... I've been to Tampa in a storm and I can understand how you feel, but for the most part I did like Tampa...
As for Frankfurt ... that's a no no wouldn't even dream of retiring there... I do know of a much nicer place, about a couple of hours away, Wienheim, check it out. There is a language barrier in Germany though as most of them do not speak English.
