It is really hard these days - 100 hrs/12 mths, that's almost 2 hrs supervised driving a week! doh That will test any mother/daughter bond I can tell you. I will confess I said some swear words I never knew I knew!! Especially when that telegraph pole was coming closer to my side of the car.

That is one of the hardest things, letting go of control of the car to an inexperienced driver wow It is scary.

But hey, on the plus side, I now have another DD Driver! So for me it's all joy buddies party BRING IT ON!!

I refuse to teach - that's what driving schools are for - my peace of mind, the safety of the car - rolling on the floor laughing

The kid just got her learners, she just past the eye test? The lady tolled her to cover one eye an read the bottom two lines, then she said now cover the other eye, and read the bottom two lines, then the lady said now with both eyes, the kid covered both eyes?

She obviously take after her mother!

Have fun with that Blizzard. Do they have the same rules in WA - 100 hrs in 12 mths before you can take your Licence? It's a killer, my son said it was so frustrating, he knew he could drive and pass his test after 4 mths of driving - but had to wait another 8 mths. very mad

Best of luck, remember deep breathing, try and forget all thos 4-letter words you know if she is driving with you? hug

Took the kid for a drive today,
First we went to the shops to do weekly shopping about 5KM from here, she did great other than turning left when I said to turn right! I then got her to drive home again,

I must admit, I was impressed with her driving ability (she must have studied me lots)

Any how after we put the food away, I suggested she drive us to grandmas house, 25km away down two major HYWS at up too 100km per hour,

Out of 10 I gave her 9.½ she hit one kerb when looking at the fuel gage, she thought we were going to run out of fuel, my fuel gage is broken so I use mileage to judge fuel levels, old car,

peace
